A man faces life after caring for his wife.
George Parker’s wife has recently died with Alzheimer’s. He took early retirement to care for her, and is now adjusting to his new life without her. This story celebrated George’s love for his wife and his struggle to overcome adversity with warmth, integrity and an infectious sense of humour.

“THE CARER provides a very sensitive portrayal of a carer experiencing grief from losing his lifetime partner who has been diagnosed with dementia [and]... puts in the public domain many emotional, challenging and frustrating issues faced on a daily basis by carers.” Alzheimer’s Australia Vic.
